Viewstats is a independent YouTube analytics website created by the American YouTuber MrBeast,[1][2] and co-founded by Chucky Appleby.[3] It allows users to use general analysing tools, but also helps new YouTubers to grow their channel with Viewstats Pro.[1][4][5][6]

Created in December 2023 in beta,[7] and presented in a MrBeast YouTube video in November 2024,[1] it is available in a Google Chrome extension via the Chrome Web Store for free,[8][9] or it can be accessible to their official website. There is currently a mobile app that is in beta,[10] which is planned to be released in Q1 2025.

Alleged involvement in MrBeast drama edit

During the MrBeast drama in 2024, Viewstats' live subscriber count stopped updating, starting in August 2024. Its last update stated that MrBeast had 309,164,697 subscribers.[11][12][13]

It is alleged that this was intentionally done to cover up how many subscribers MrBeast was gaining/losing, either by YouTube, Viewstats, or both parties, especially due to its timing.[14] When questioned on Discord, Chucky, the co-founder of Viewstats, stated "lmao the conspiracy theories 😂 don’t worry we’ll fix it,"[15] which became a meme in the statistics community. After further questioning from TRAINAlytics,[16] he was then banned from the server,[17] raising more suspicions.

Eventually, in September 2024, the live subscriber count was fixed. Its first update after it was fixed stated that MrBeast had 313,335,347 subscribers.[18]
